Any recommendations on tuners to use in Somerset ?
I've got a Black Fiesta RS Turbo that I would like to get setup properly and possibly add a few engine modifications as well but i'm having trouble finding anyone local
I have previously had a red Escort RS Turbo and I only ever had that set up once while I owned it as it didnt do alot of miles and I had that setup by Karl Norris and dont fancy travelling so far for another setup
I'm in Yeovil, Somerset
Thanks
Scott

Scott,
Welcome to the forum!
JEK might know someone who could set it up for you - he's recently been involved in work on FRS's Mk1's
My only thought is interpro but i've not heard fantastic stories about their work.
I'm sure i've seen you and the car around - I've the FRS with black wheels - you might have seen it parked up
feel free to come along to our next meeting we're a friendly bunch and too my knowledge we don't have a Fiesta RST in the group at the moment so would look great come show time
regards

Scott, Where ever you decide to go for a Rolling Road tune, make sure the cooling fan used is big enough. I've seen far too many rolling roads where the fan is just in adequate. Interpro do have one of the biggest fan set ups in the uk, this is why when I had Fords I always used them

Thanks for the replies
I will look in to Interpro, I have also heard various stories about them over the years
Willow I have seen a few Focus RS's around. I will try and make the next meet. My nephew also has a RS so will see if he wants to come along as well unless he already has. He drives a Escort RS2000
You may have seen my FRST around. It is my daily drive. Black standard looks, just lowered a bit with a stainless exhaust. I havent seen any other FRST's around the area
I didnt know JEK posted on here, a friend of his bought my old Yellow Fiesta Si, I will see where he recommends
Graham I will bear the fans in mind when I do find somewhere to set it up. If you took the Cossie to Interpro then I can imagine they will be fine with my FRST

Scott best of luck - saw the car on tuesday i think it was - looked very nice! Thanks Willow Looks can be deceiving unfortunately !! It needs some bodywork doing, the usual filler cap has rusted. Also needs a scuttle panel and a replacement boot. The sunroof also has a few bubbles but nothing that cannot be fixed It is also running a XR2 bottom end rather than the proper FRST item as the previous owner had some engine troubles and unfortunately resolved to fitting this rather than the proper item. I am in the process of sourcing a proper FRST engine to replace this with Out of interest where did you see the car ? I was following a green mk2 Focus RS over the bridge by Westlands earlier in the week. Does anyone know if this is a members car ? It had a private plate on it which I wont post on here for obvious reasons Shame about the weather and the meet being cancelled last night, hopefully the weather will be nicer for the next one Scott
