ok it's here!!!!!!!!!
No pics yet but i tried it on 2 panels last night and wow what a tool!
Did the passenger wing and the rail above the rear window on drivers side.
Started nice and cautiously - masked the edges etc with car friendly masking tape - then using a polishing pad and poorboys SSR1 polish started trying to remove the swirls.
This got rid of a fair few but there were some pesky deeper ones so changed to SSR2 (more abrasive) this got rid of most on the wing and all on the rail.
Then i tried Permashines 'Vanilla' Car polish - used on a finishing pad to get a real good shine to the finish - well it was great!!!!
Finished with some permashine protect and now these two 'Test' areas are stunning!
Can't wait for Friday - got the day off and i think i'll be doing the whole car - blow the wedding! LOL!

machine was 140 beer token - but when you add all the other stuff i bought were looking at nearly 250 beer tokens!!!
but in my opinion it'll add 500 beer tokens worth of value to the vehicle and resale on these isn't that bad! get 80% back what you pay for them!
Once practiced and you see the results then we'll talk!

ahhh its orbital once youve had a lot lot of pratice with it step up to a makita rotary polisher the differance is night and day !!!
you bought the correct polisher 1st i started out with porter cable polisher before moving onto rotary i still use my porter cable for applying glaze
the main advantages to an orbital polisher is they are very safe you wont burn the paint without seriously being stupid the down sides are they take a while to correct the paint compared to the rotary and you wont get a correction on some harder clear coat surfaces like bmw and mercs etc
hope your having fun and i cant wait to see the pics when your finished
